Welcome to the 2006 FIFA Worldcup Soccer Pool. This site gives you the opportunity to participate in a soccer pool, print out your selections, or monitor standings in the soccer pool. All this is done through an easy user interface. From here you can enter the open pool, enter a specific pool, or discuss your selections.

Note this is a recreational site only. We do not manage the pools hosted on the site but only offer this hosting service.

Please go to Join Pool to join the pool. If you do not login you will not be able to save your picks.

To enter just determine the teams that will make it to each stage. Points are scored by correctly guessing the teams progress through each round. For each correct guess you get points with the following values:

    Group 1st        1 Point  x  8 teams =     8 potential points (tbo 8)
    Group 2nd        1 Point  x  8 teams =     8 potential points (tbo 9)
    Group 3rd        1 Point  x  8 teams =     8 potential points (tbo 10)
    Group 4th        1 Point  x  8 teams =     8 potential points (tbo 11)
Eliminations        
    Qualifiers:      1 Point  x 16 teams =    16 potential points (tbo 7)
    Quarter-finals:  4 Points x  8 teams =    32 potential points (tbo 6)
    Semi-finals:     8 Points x  4 teams =    32 potential points (tbo 5)
    Finalists:      16 Points x  2 teams =    32 potential points (tbo 4)
    Champion:       32 Points x  1 Champion = 32 potential points (tbo 1)
    2nd Place:      16 Points x  1 team =     16 potential points (tbo 2)
    3rd Place:       8 Points x  1 team =      8 potential points (tbo 3)
                                             200 total potential points

This means if you correctly guess the whole tournament you will get 200 points.
